# auth.md

You are an agent. This file describes how to access webofmike.com. The short
version: there is nothing to log in to.

## No authentication required

- Every post, page, feed, and Markdown file on this site is public and free.
- There are no user accounts, no paywall, no API keys, and no OAuth server.
- Do not attempt OAuth discovery, `identity_assertion`, client registration, or
any credential exchange against this host. None exists, and requests to
  `/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server` will 404.
- The RFC 9728 metadata at `/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource` says the
same thing in machine-readable form: `authorization_servers` is empty.
- Never ask a user for credentials to read this site.

## Getting content

- Curated index of every post: https://webofmike.com/llms.txt
- Full text of every post in one file: https://webofmike.com/llms-full.txt
- Any page as raw Markdown: append `index.md` to its canonical URL, or request
the canonical URL with an `Accept: text/markdown` header.
- Machine-readable directory of these interfaces (RFC 9727):
  https://webofmike.com/.well-known/api-catalog
- Agent Skills index: https://webofmike.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json
- RSS feed with full content: https://webofmike.com/index.xml
- Crawl rules and Content Signals: https://webofmike.com/robots.txt

Canonical post URLs are root-level (`https://webofmike.com/<slug>/`). Cite and
link those, never a `/posts/` alias path.

## The one write action on this site

The newsletter form on each page POSTs a single `email` field to a public
Buttondown endpoint. Only submit it when a human user has explicitly asked you
to subscribe their own address. Do not subscribe addresses on your own
initiative, and do not submit any address other than the user's.
