Both put tasks on your calendar automatically. Motion plans your whole day. Reclaim protects time for habits and focus inside the calendar you already have. More on the [planner hub](/ai-life/work-study/planners/).

## Reclaim

Works on top of Google or Outlook calendar. It blocks time for habits, tasks and breaks, and moves them when meetings land. The free plan makes it easy to try. {{< aff reclaim "Try Reclaim" />}}

## Motion

A full task manager and calendar. It decides what you work on and when, and reschedules when things slip. More control handed to the app, more cost. {{< aff motion "Try Motion" />}}

## Which fits

- You want to keep your calendar and protect focus time: Reclaim.
- You want the app to plan your day from a task list: Motion.
- You're not sure: start with Reclaim's free plan.

For a specific case, see [can an AI calendar fix a sales engineer's week](/ai-life/work-study/planners/ai-calendar-sales-engineer-week/). Parents should read [best AI planner for busy parents](/ai-life/work-study/planners/best-ai-planner-busy-parents/).

## What my agent can do with it

An AI calendar and an agent can step on each other if both move meetings. I'd let the planner own focus blocks and let the agent only read the calendar and suggest changes.
