How to decide
- Prime member with Echo speakers: Alexa+ costs you nothing extra.
- Nest cameras and displays: Gemini, and decide if Premium’s history and AI features are worth $10 to $20 a month.
- Mixed devices: put a Matter bridge underneath so you can switch assistants later. See SwitchBot hub automations for renters .
Doorbell and camera alerts are a big part of the daily use. See smart doorbells with package detection . If you want an assistant on the go instead of in the kitchen, see AI glasses .
