I run more than one Shark robot vacuum, one for each floor. Specs come from Shark.

## Why one per floor

Robots can't climb stairs. A robot on each floor means no carrying, and each one keeps its own map.

## The mapping

Shark's app maps each floor, and you can name rooms, set no-go zones and send the robot to one room. See [Shark robot vacuums](https://www.sharkclean.com/).

## Who it fits

Multi-floor homes and pet owners. More picks in [best robot vacuum for pet hair](/ai-life/home/robot-vacuums/best-robot-vacuum-pet-hair/).
