Mike’s take: I run multiple Shark robots, one per floor, and rate them 5/5. In my words: “I love the AI mapping.” More in my owner review .

Getting started

  1. Set the dock on a hard floor with clear space around it and connect the robot in the SharkClean app.
  2. Run a mapping pass on each floor. Name rooms and set no-go zones in the app (Shark ).
  3. One robot per floor saves carrying it up and down. That’s how I run it; see why one per floor .

How the AI works

  • What “AI mapping” means here: the robot builds a map of each floor, and the app lets you name rooms, set no-go zones and send it to one room (Shark ).
  • Where it runs and which model: Shark has not published where mapping is computed or what model it uses.
  • What leaves the device: the robot connects to your SharkClean account so the app and voice assistants can control it.
