What reviewers liked
Roaming is the point. Instead of one fixed view, you drive to wherever the pet is. Cat owners get the most out of the laser mode.
What reviewers flagged
- Wi-Fi. The connection can drop as the robot moves away from the router.
- Docking. It doesn’t always find its way back to the dock.
- Battery. Runtime is short, so longer sessions need a charge break.
- Rugs. Thick rugs and floor transitions slow it down or stop it.
These come up across reviews from The Pet Dude , Alex Reviews Tech and the Irish Times .
Pet sitter verdict
It’s a fun way to check in and play. It isn’t a substitute for a person when a pet needs food, meds or a walk, and it’s not a reliable all-day monitor. If shedding is the bigger problem, the pet hair robot vacuum picks are more useful.
