AI Life / Gadgets / AI Recorders

A recorder on its own gives you a pile of transcripts. The value comes from where they go next. This is my setup with Pocket. More on the AI recorder hub .

The flow

  1. Capture. Pocket records meetings and calls. I don’t have to remember to start an app.
  2. Summarize. Pocket’s app writes the summary and pulls action items.
  3. File. Notes go into Obsidian. I wrote up how in Pocket to Obsidian .
  4. Use. My agent reads the notes when I ask about a customer, a decision, or what I promised someone.

Why it works

  • No meter on transcription, so I record everything instead of picking (Pocket price ).
  • The notes are searchable in plain text, not locked in one app.
  • The agent can read them, so I can ask questions instead of scrolling.

Making it yours

  • Start with one habit: recording every external call.
  • Tag notes by person or project.
  • Review action items once a day.
Get Pocket

For the settings I use, see best Pocket settings . If you want to prep calls from those notes, see best AI note taker with no bot in the call . Students can use the same idea with Gemini Notebook .

What my agent can do with it

This is where the agent earns its keep. Through the Pocket MCP server , my agent can answer “what did we decide on Tuesday” without me opening anything. More in Pocket as an AI agent .
